Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. (APC) is seeking a Trade Confirmation Associate to manage end-to-end confirmation and contract administration for physical commodity trades, ensuring accurate documentation and binding terms.

The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts for chemicals, crude oil, products, and renewables, coordinating with traders and counterparties, and ensuring timely confirmation and filing in the contract lifecycle system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, legal studies or related fields, a paralegal certification, or equivalent combination of experience (contract/legal document preparation and review, and confirmation processes).
  • Understanding of key contractual terms and their implications is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Drafts, reviews, and dispatches contracts/responses for purchase and sale of physical Chemicals, Crude Oil, Products, and Renewables.
  • Works with traders, commercial advisors, and counterparties to ensure contracts reflect terms agreed and are fit for purpose.
  • Verifies that all confirmations capture contractual terms and resolves discrepancies promptly.
  • Filing all deal-related correspondence in the contract lifecycle management system and processing electronic confirmations via Ice Trade Vault.
  • Manages daily incoming confirmation correspondence and inquiries in shared mailboxes.
