Fastenal Co. in Winona, MN is seeking a full-time Trade Compliance Coordinator to execute the trade compliance program and help ensure proper import/export procedures. You will work with Logistics, Product Development, Inventory and Accounts Payable to support compliance initiatives.

The role may include flexible scheduling after onboarding, with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits package for full-time employees.

Competenze

• 18 years of age or older.
• Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field OR import/export/logistics experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic math skills.

• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Trade Compliance Coordinator, you will take part in executing Fastenal's trade compliance program and facilitate the proper importation and exportation of goods. You will work directly with our Logistics, Product Development, Inventory and Accounts Payable teams to support multiple compliance programs and initiatives. This includes the correct classification of goods and ensuring they remain in compliance with all company and government regulatory requirements. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with U.S. Customs to facilitate Fastenal's Import and Export program
• Assisting various departments with Harmonized Tariff Code information for Fastenal products
• Ensuring proper regulatory compliance for all international transactions
• Communicating with various departments on upcoming regulatory changes
• Completing various other tasks, as needed that might include free trade agreements, duty drawback Initiatives, internal audit functions and transaction reviews

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field of study OR have import, export, or logistics work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and possess basic math skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $45,000 - 65,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
