Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT and FHWA inspections and air brakes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with a computer.
• Willingness to work outdoors and across shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate foundational technical knowledge of preventative maintenance, replacement of parts, and basic repairs on tractors.
• Follow safety procedures and complete work orders to standard repair times.
• Communicate professionally with JB Hunt personnel and customers at all times.
• Perform repairs to manufacturer specifications and document activities accurately.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and use tools safely to support fleet readiness.
