Some shifts may include nights, weekends, or outdoor conditions. The role requires 1–2 years in semi-tractor maintenance, A/C certification, DOT/FHWA inspections, and the ability to work with basic tools supplied by you.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with 1-2 years of experience in Semi-Tractor maintenance and repair or equivalent experience.
• A/C Certification.
• DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes experience.
• Basic tools are required and supplied by the employee in most locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level maintenance, service, and repair on tractors and equipment to JB Hunt specifications.
• Troubleshoot tractor issues and complete work orders with adherence to SRT and warranty guidelines.
• Onboard and mentor Tractor Technician trainees; participate in OE repair training.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
• Maintain documentation and ensure repairs meet company and manufacturer specifications.
