J.B. Hunt is seeking a Tractor Technician II in Georgia to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors and equipment. You will work under supervision, troubleshoot issues, and ensure work aligns with JB Hunt specifications and warranty guidelines.

The role may involve outdoor work, varying shifts, and overtime as needed. The position requires 1–2 years of semi-tractor maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and A/C certification, with DOT/FHWA inspection

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in semi-tractor maintenance and repair or military equivalent.
• Willingness to work outdoors and across varying shifts, including nights/weekends.
• DOT and FHWA inspections experience is preferred; air brake knowledge required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and use basic tools supplied by employee.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance, service and repair of tractors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues, complete repairs to manufacturer specifications and WSRT standards.
• Maintain safety and shop procedures; document work orders and warranties.
• Mentor trainees and participate in OE repair training when needed.
• Communicate professionally with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
