Job summary

Central Transport is seeking skilled mechanics to join our fleet maintenance team and support our nationwide network of tractors, trailers, and forklifts.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair equipment, and troubleshoot major components to keep our operations running smoothly. We offer competitive pay, training, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, PTO, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required or preferred.
• Basic set of tools is required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Repair trucks and trailers and related equipment in a timely manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings and other parts for proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks and lubrication.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components like engine, transmission and differentials.
• Repair damage to containers, trailers and chassis.

• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
• Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis.
