Job summary

Mavagi Enterprises seeks a Tractor Operator to drive gasoline or diesel tractors, move materials, tow trailers, and attach implements. You will support airport operations under contract and supervise grounds laborers to maintain sites efficiently.

Responsibilities include safe operation, basic maintenance, and landscape tasks. Must communicate in English and pass required background checks. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lead a team with one-year management experience.
• Ability to operate a tractor, with one-year relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain an airfield license.
• Ability to operate riding mower, weed eater, grass edger, and other basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Speak clearly via radio with Naval Air Station Tower to coordinate runway operations.
• Train grounds laborers to maintain grounds per contract scope and schedules.
• Monitor safety requirements and company standards.
• Cut/mow lawns and edge around walks and beds.
• Landscape by planting, fertilizing, and pruning as needed.
• Perform routine tractor maintenance and minor repairs.
