Job summary

Inchcape is seeking a Tractor Driver to safely deliver products to multiple locations and maintain accurate trip records. You will plan efficient routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and assist with loading and unloading while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of trucking experience, and a Guam Class C license. A punctual, reliable professional with strong communication is valued.

The Tractor Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to various locations while maintaining accurate trip records and ensuring the proper operation and condition of the truck and trailer. The role also performs routine inspections, assists with loading and unloading freight, and carries out minor maintenance tasks as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Safely deliver products to various locations.
• Plan efficient routes and ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure they are in safe and proper operating condition.
• Conduct inventory checks of loads and document their condition before departure.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Properly secure freight before departure and monitor its safe distribution throughout the trip.
• Report delays caused by road conditions, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues to management.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks on the truck and trailer as needed.
• Maintain accurate trip and delivery records.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation, trucking, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Report to work on time every day as scheduled.
• Attend department meetings and required training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

ABOUT YOU

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience as a tractor-trailer truck driver preferred.
• Valid Guam Class C Driver’s License.
• Safe and responsible driving habits with a strong commitment to road and workplace safety.
• Ability to inspect, secure, load, and unload freight safely.
• Ability to plan routes and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with customers and management.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
