Sécheron Hasler Group is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Pittsburgh area to join our global team. This role blends technical estimating with customer-facing sales, focusing on DC switchgear, power conversion systems, and traction power solutions for the rail industry.

You will develop technical estimates, engage clients, and support product offerings while building long-term relationships. Strong electrical engineering background and excellent communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
• 3+ years in Sales Engineering or technical sales roles.
• Experience with DC and AC power systems (Low/Medium Voltage).
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical estimates, quotations, and solutions for traction power applications.
• Engage with clients to deliver tailored solutions and build relationships.
• Provide support on DC/AC products (DC switchgear, rectifiers, power converters).
• Develop a strategic sales plan to build a robust pipeline and meet sales goals.
• Model financials to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
• Lead responses for RFPs/RFIs and stay updated on market trends.
• Represent the company at trade associations and client events.
