Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Track Vehicle Repairer to maintain and repair track vehicles, including diesel power plants, fuel systems, and electrical components. You will supervise activities related to fuel and electrical system repair and expand your mechanical skillset on components like carburetors and transmissions.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with pay during the program and access to tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Army National Guard enlistment.
• Age between 17 and 35.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Repair diesel power plants/packs, compression ignition engine fuel systems, and compression ignition air induction systems.
• Fix vehicle air cooling systems and vehicle liquid cooling systems, track hull electrical systems and automatic transmission assemblies.
• Service track vehicle cross drive transmission assemblies, transfer assemblies, hydraulic brakes.
