Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Track Vehicle Repairer to maintain and repair track vehicles, engines and electrical systems, with supervision of repair activities. You will work on diesel power units, fuel systems and related components while expanding a broad mechanical skillset.

Training is paid, and you will earn a regular paycheck during service with access to tuition assistance and retirement benefits. This role supports part-time, drill-weekend duties within the Guard.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
• Interest in maintaining and repairing diesel power plants and track components.
• High school diploma or GED required; enlistment in Army National Guard.

Responsibilities

• Repair diesel power plants, fuel systems, and air induction systems.
• Fix cooling systems and track hull electrical systems.
• Service transmission assemblies and hydraulic components.
