Job summary

Bay Line Railroad, L.L.C. in Dothan, AL is seeking a Track Foreman with at least 1 year of railroad Maintenance‑of‑Way experience. The role leads the MoW crew, plans maintenance, and coordinates with other teams to ensure safe, reliable track operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MoW experience; outdoors preferred.
• Able to complete written forms and reports as required.
• Experience with tools and equipment is a plus.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules, manuals, and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting).
• Experience with heavy hand tools and outdoor work is a plus.
• Situational awareness and safety‑sensitive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects, including hands‑on work.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure organized railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor and manage maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Support MoW department in meeting track, signal, and capital‑projects goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
