Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. in Dothan, AL, is seeking a Track Foreman to lead the Bay Line Railroad MoW crew and ensure track safety and reliability. This full-time role requires hands-on leadership and 1 year of RR MoW experience, with a willingness to work in a 24/7 environment.

You will oversee daily maintenance, coordinate with other teams, enforce safety, monitor costs, and support track and signaling projects. A CDL and related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Able to complete written forms and reports.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office and related software skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure organized railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor and control costs to stay within budget.
• Support MoW department goals for track, signal and capital projects.
