Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Track Excavator) to support a critical wastewater treatment plant project in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on safe operation of excavators, load charts, and coordination with site teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; documentation provided at application.
• 1–3 years of heavy equipment operator experience.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating manuals and load charts.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavator/backhoe/forklift on site.
• Build level surfaces and excavate using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Identify and report hazards; ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with all site personnel and teams.
