Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant post‑education experience in engineering (transit/rail).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; WA State license required.
• Advanced proficiency with transit and rail engineering principles and design delivery.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of track design and installation for transit and railroad projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for seamless system integration of track, signals, comms, and traction power.
• Review contractor deliverables, cost estimates, change orders, and progress payments.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for client reviews.
• Provide strategic oversight for the transit and rail engineering discipline across projects.
