Job summary

Pepper Source, a family-owned company providing custom sauces and dry coating systems, seeks a Total Quality Urschel Operator. You will operate a mixing machine, verify ingredients, load inputs, and adjust settings to achieve proper consistency.

You must relay issues to supervision and maintain sanitation across equipment. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read safety documents, English proficiency, and the physical stamina to lift 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies ingredients prior to mixing.
• Loads ingredients into mixing tank.
• Starts machine and adjusts valves to aid blending.
• Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency and unloads into totes.
• Relays problems to the Department Supervisor.
• Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, pumps and pipes.

Job Title: Total Quality Urschel Operator

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

1st Shift

Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm

Overtime required based on production need.

$17.50/hour

Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing by performing the following duties:

Other duties may be assigned.

• Verifies ingredients prior to mixing.
• Loads ingredients into mixing tank.
• Starts machine and adjusts valves or devices in mixing chamber to aid in blending and densifying mixture.
• Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and turns lever to unload mixture into totes or bulk tanks.
• Immediately relays any problems or concerns with product to the Department Supervisor.
• Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, pumps and pipes.
