Job summary

Leidos seeks a TPS Systems Test Engineer at the Washington Navy Yard to support the Tomahawk Weapon System and TMPC segment. The role centers on TPS testing within the System Test Engineering Team and supports the Navy contract. The engineer will conduct requirements analysis, test planning and execution, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• US Citizen; currently possessing an active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
• Operational experience with Tomahawk Planning System (TPS) mission planning is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, software programming, databases including SQL, system interface testing, and test automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis; test planning, test execution (functional, integration, regression and more), test results recording and reporting, and site acceptance testing at multiple end-user locations as necessary.
• Domestic and some international travel may be required - up to 25% per year.
• Reviews and evaluation of products and processes; participate in Engineering review boards.
• Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives and develops solutions to technical problems.
