Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Test Engineer focused on the Mission Distribution System (MDS) to support the Theater Mission Planning Center at the Washington Navy Yard. You will join the System Test Engineering Team and work on requirements analysis, test planning, and validation for the Tomahawk Weapon System components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• U.S. Citizen; active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
• Operational experience with Tomahawk Mission Distribution System (MDS) and strike planning.
• Working knowledge of software engineering, software programming, databases including SQL, system interface testing, and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and perform design reviews, write and execute tests (functional, integration, regression).
• Lead test planning, results reporting, and site acceptance testing at multiple end-user locations as needed.
• Coordinate reviews and evaluations of products and processes with internal teams and external customers.
• Communicate with project teams and management; ensure schedules meet performance requirements.
• Develop solutions to technical problems and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Travel domestically and some internationally up to 25% per year.
