Job summary

Leidos seeks a Systems Test Engineer focused on the Tomahawk Planning System (TPS) to join the Washington Planning Center at the Washington Navy Yard, supporting TMPC within the Tomahawk Weapon System. This role emphasizes system-level verification, coordination with the test team, and travel as needed.

The candidate must have a TS/SCI upgrade path and DoD Top Secret clearance, with 8+ years of related experience and TPS familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience.
US Citizenship; active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
Operational experience with Tomahawk Planning System (TPS) mission planning is highly desired.
Strong knowledge of software engineering, databases including SQL, system interface testing, and test automation is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements analysis; test planning, design reviews, and test execution across functional/integration/regression testing.
Coordinate test results recording, reporting, and site acceptance testing at multiple locations.
Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually as required.
Participate in engineering reviews and contribute to process improvements.
Lead internal teams and communicate with customers to ensure on-time delivery.
