Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to support the Mission Distribution System (MDS) at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. The role focuses on system test engineering within the TMPC segment of the Tomahawk Weapon System and requires active DoD Secret clearance with potential upgrade to TS/SCI.

You will analyze requirements, plan and execute tests, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system readiness and milestone delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• US Citizen; active DoD Secret clearance with capability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• Operational experience with Tomahawk Mission Distribution System (MDS) and strike planning is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of software engineering, software programming, databases including SQL, system interface testing, and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis; test planning, execution (functional, integration, regression), and reporting.
• Site acceptance testing at multiple end-user locations as necessary.
• Travel up to 25% per year; supports international travel.
• Reviews and evaluation of products and processes; participate in engineering reviews.
• Communicates and leads internal project teams and external organizations.
• Ensures project schedules and performance requirements are met.
• Leads development of organizational goals and process improvement.
