Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Test Engineer for the Mission Distribution System (MDS) at the Washington Planning Center, supporting the TMPC segment of the Tomahawk Weapon System. The role requires 8+ years of related experience and active DoD Secret clearance with potential upgrade to TS/SCI.

The candidate will perform requirements analysis, test planning and execution, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• US Citizen; Currently possessing an active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to a TS/SCI clearance upon hire.
• Operational experience with Tomahawk Mission Distribution System (MDS) and strike planning is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of software engineering, software programming, databases including SQL, system interface testing, and test automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and conduct software design reviews; inspect specs and docs.
• Plan and execute tests: functional, integration, regression; report results.
• Develop operational test scenarios and participate in milestone reviews.
• Conduct site acceptance testing at multiple end-user locations as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% per year.
• Lead reviews and evaluation of products and processes with engineering boards.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers to advance objectives.
• Ensure schedules and performance targets are met; drive process improvements.
