Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a technical support professional for a key customer in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on escalations, fleet performance, and on-site installations for semiconductor equipment.

You will collaborate with field engineers and product teams, prepare documentation, and contribute to high-availability system support. Relocation is eligible; travel up to 50% is required. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonus or stock-based awards.

Qualifications

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer equipment.
Coordinate with field engineers and product teams on escalations.
Configure installations and service activities for hardware/software.

Responsibilities

Handle technical support for a specific customer: escalations, fleet performance, and installations.
Act as intermediary between customer and Division by providing technical support and documentation to field engineers and product support teams.
Provide Alpha Site support to Engineering for installation, operation, calibration, service and testing.
Provide Beta Site Support for installation, operation, calibration, service and testing of new hardware/software or processes on a customer tool.
Initiate and review ECOs to ensure data supports fixes and communicate with the field.
Generate system performance data including MTBF, MTBI, availability and process data reporting.
Support GPS in creating documentation such as CENs and BKMs; present to customers.
