Job summary

Checkered Flag Automotive Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Toyota Service Consultant to join our winning team. You will greet customers, explain service options and estimates, and coordinate timely maintenance and repairs in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires strong customer focus, 2 years of service writing experience, and excellent verbal/written communication. A valid driver's license and dealer-software proficiency are needed for success.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive service writing experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships online and in person.
• Comfortable working with various dealer software systems.
• Must be self-motivated.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be organized, able to multitask and follow-up with customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have a valid driver's license with 4 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet service customers promptly.
• Communicate with customers on options, cost, and timing to complete the delivery of maintenance and repairs.
• Professionally address and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
• Inspect vehicles prior to each customer’s delivery to ensure vehicles services and/or repairs are performed correctly.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $194,000 annually, depending on experience

What Our Service Consultants Do

• Meet and greet service customers promptly
