Job summary

Checkered Flag Automotive Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Express Technician to join our team. The role offers a pay range of $15-$24 hourly, depending on experience, and is a full-time position at our Virginia Beach location.

The Express Technician performs repair-order work, conducts multi-point inspections, documents all work, and communicates with service staff. A high school diploma and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Valid driver's license with 3 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order assigned with efficiency and accuracy.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspection on every vehicle.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Communicate with Service Consultant if any work on repair order is not needed or required, or if repairs will need additional time.
• Record all work performed on vehicle.
• Complete all required company and manufacturer training.

What Our Express Technicians Do

Your Pre-Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Must have a valid driver's license with 3 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years
  • Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates.
