Job summary

Toyota of Wallingford is seeking a Product Specialist to join our Sales team. This hourly, full-time role places you at the center of the buying journey, guiding customers from initial inquiry to final purchase and follow-up while showcasing Toyota models.

You will work with the sales team to meet individual and dealership targets, enjoy a guaranteed daily per diem, and monthly bonuses tied to sales productivity in a customer-focused showroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, automotive retail preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicles, especially Toyota models.
• Experience with CRM software to track leads and follow-ups.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in commission role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in, phone, and online customers to understand needs and budget, and recommend vehicles with emphasis on Toyota models.
• Present and demonstrate vehicle features, capabilities, and benefits through test drives and product presentations.
• Educate customers on model differences, trim levels, options, warranties, and financing/leasing alternatives.
• Manage the full sales process from lead qualification to closing and delivery.
• Use CRM software to track leads, log interactions, and maintain customer records.
