Responsibilities
  • Perform factory scheduled maintenance and follow all manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures.
  • Test drive vehicles to identify any concerns or issues.
  • Communicate with service advisors about repairs and additional needs for the vehicle.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles.
  • Work as a team with the service department professionals.
  • Participate in classes and training to advance knowledge of working on vehicles.
  • Stay up-to-date with products and vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Provide the best service experience for every customer.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2–3 years of prior technician experience.
  • Ability to conduct repair orders and mechanical work on vehicles.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
  • Possession of one or more ASE certifications.
  • Consistent high-quality work and focus on fixing issues the first time.
  • Ability to answer questions regarding vehicles, the dealership, and service.
  • Goal to achieve Master Technician certification if not already met.
