Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Changeover Labor to support event setup and changeover duties at our Ontario, CA venue. This part-time, on-call role involves assisting with moving, arranging, and disassembly of items to prep for events, with evenings, weekends, and holidays expected.

You will work under the Changeover Manager/Supervisor, maintaining safe work habits and clear English communication. Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Desirable: prior experience in a similar role.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, set up and changeover for events, arranging and disassembling items.
• Assist with event set-ups and strikes: chairs, tables, stages, reader boards, lecterns; Clean equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

FLSA STATUS: Part Time/On-Call/Non-Exempt

COMPENSATION: $24.00 an hour

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under direction, event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed for various events.

Participates in Event set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to, chairs, tables, riser/stages, reader boards, stanchions, lecterns, piano, office furniture and equipment, etc. Cleans equipment when necessary. Makes recommendations for the improvement of all phases of the facility operation. Works safely at all times, notifying the Lead or Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents.

Desirable: Previous experience in a similar line of work

• Receive direction both verbally and in writing and follow those directions precisely
• Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times during the workday
• Skill to: Operate radio devices

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting 50lbs. without assistance for 40% of the workday; irregular hours will be required. May be required to work with hazardous chemicals/substances. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events. This position requires stooping and lifting. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Must be able to pass background.
