Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Changeover Labor in the Operations department to support event set-ups and changeovers. This part-time, on-call, non-exempt role pays $24.00 per hour and requires the ability to move, assemble, and disassemble event items.

Responsibilities include setting up and striking, cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Forklift certification is preferred; no formal education is required. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Desirable: previous experience in a similar line of work.
• Forklift certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover for events, including moving and assembling items.
• Assist with event setups and strikes (chairs, tables, stages, lecterns, etc.).
• Clean equipment when necessary.
• Suggest improvements to facility operations.
• Work safely and report accidents to Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under direction, event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed for various events.
• Participates in Event set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to, chairs, tables, riser/stages, reader boards, stanchions, lecterns, piano, office furniture and equipment, etc.
• Cleans equipment when necessary.
• Makes recommendations for the improvement of all phases of the facility operation.
• Works safely at all times, notifying the Lead or Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents.
• Perform other Duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Required: None Desirable: Previous experience in a similar line of work

License/Certificate: Prefer forklift certificate

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting 50lbs. without assistance for 40% of the workday; irregular hours will be required. May be required to work with hazardous chemicals/substances. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events. This position requires stooping and lifting. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Must be able to pass background. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
