Labcorp in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Technologist Trainee to support specimen processing, instrument operation, and data review. This role offers training, 3rd shift hours (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with overtime potential, and a path to full laboratory technologist responsibilities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in a chemical/biological science or medical technology, with ASCP/AMT certification preferred and a strong eye for detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• Lab experience or training is beneficial; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and evaluate orders for testing.
• Operate instruments such as Hamilton/Nimbus and LCMS; interpret data.
• Maintain records, QC logs, and perform routine instrument checks.
• Adhere to SOPs and provide accurate reports to clients.
