Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist Trainee to join our Phoenix, AZ team. The position offers a Tuesday–Sunday schedule, 6:00am–2:30pm, with new grad training provided.

Responsibilities include receiving specimens, evaluating orders, performing tests on instruments, and delivering accurate reports. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• Flexible to work overtime or other shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens for testing.
• Evaluate specimens and test orders.
• Maintain instrument calibration and routine maintenance.
• Interpret results and prepare final reports.
• Adhere to SOPs and quality control.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues as needed.
• Document data and maintain logs.
