Job summary

Valley Medical and Wellness is seeking a Laboratory Toxicology Supervisor to lead a CLIA-certified toxicology lab. You will supervise staff, oversee operations and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting LC/MS/MS method troubleshooting and assay development.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership abilities and a commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field is required.
• MLS/ML or ASCP certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a CLIA-certified toxicology lab.
• Hands-on LC/MS/MS experience in biological matrices.
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop toxicology laboratory staff.
• Conduct competency assessments and performance evaluations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure CLIA/CAP/ISO compliance.
• Troubleshoot LC/MS/MS assays and support method development.
• Ensure documentation and SOP maintenance.
