Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our ToxAssure team in Durham, NC. The role involves supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of lab results, and mentoring staff within a high-volume toxicology laboratory.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology, with 4+ years in clinical lab testing and toxicology, along with familiarity with LIS and CLIA/CAP regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 4+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• 4+ years of Toxicology testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the ToxAssure department.
• Ensure tests are accurately performed and results reported timely.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor department personnel.
• Maintain QA records and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP and state regulations.
• Manage payroll and personnel files and ensure proper staffing for shifts.
