Trinity Health in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist in the Toxicology section. The position involves instrument operation, specimen preparation, result reporting, and using the LIS in a patient-care setting.

In this role you will operate HPLC and LC-MS/MS instruments, perform quality control, and ensure timely reporting of results. A BS in Medical Technology or related field is required; MLS/MT certification is preferred and visa sponsorship is not available.

Competenze

• Education: Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
• ASCP/MLS/MT certifications preferred.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship unavailable.
• Equivalency: bachelor’s in science with relevant lab experience considered.

Mansioni

• Enter and review laboratory test results in the LIS and report results promptly.
• Notify supervisor of unusual or highly abnormal results.
• Perform quality control and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Prepare standards, reagents and materials used in testing.
• Communicate results with nursing units or client offices.
