Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our Toxicology team located in Houston, TX. This 11-week, full‑time paid internship runs June 1st – August 13th, 2027, with a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

You will shadow professionals, assist with specimen organization and inventory, participate in mock testing, and support approved projects while learning through hands-on experiences.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.
• Interest in laboratory science and diagnostics industry.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.
