Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Toxicology Intern to join our team in Durham, NC. This 11-week, full-time paid internship runs June 1st to August 13th, 2027, offering hands-on exposure to diagnostic workflows and laboratory operations.

Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors enrolled in a relevant degree program with a keen interest in laboratory science and diagnostics. The program includes mentorship, leadership exposure, and opportunities to engage with senior leaders within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.
