Job summary

nadc seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform high-complexity toxicology testing and provide scientific support to ensure accurate results under CLIA Subpart M and Montana licensure requirements.

You will contribute to method verification, quality assessment, corrective actions, and training within the toxicology laboratory, while ensuring readiness for inspections and accreditation audits. You will also document QC results and mentor CLS staff to maintain excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field and four years of high-complexity testing experience per 42 CFR.
• Montana CLS licensure or eligibility is required.
• ASCP/AMT certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and validate high-complexity clinical toxicology assays including LC/MS.
• Review QC, calibration results, maintenance logs, and proficiency testing; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain readiness for CLIA inspections and accreditation audits.
• Participate in method evaluation studies and reagent lot qualifications.
• Provide technical guidance and training to CLTs and new staff.
