Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science, medical technology, chemistry, or biology.
• Four (4) years of high-complexity testing experience per 42 CFR §493.1491.
• Montana CLS licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and validate high-complexity toxicology assays (LC/MS).
• Review QC, calibration results, maintenance logs, and proficiency testing.Implement corrective actions per CLIA requirements.
• Participate in method verification, validation, and parallel testing studies.
• Provide training and technical guidance to CLS staff and CLTs; support SOP updates.
