Job summary

JDH Contracting in the United States is seeking Tower Technicians for the Wireless Division. The role requires climbing towers up to 1000 feet, installing and maintaining antennas and related hardware, and ensuring safety standards on every site.

Candidates should have 1+ year of tower or telecom experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. CDL class A is a plus; safety training such as ComTrain is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of tower climbing or related telecom industry experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical exam required.
• CDL Class A license is a plus.
• ComTrain or other industry safety and climbing certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers daily to perform installation and maintenance tasks up to 1000 feet.
• Install antennas, mounts, cable ladders, transmission lines, and related equipment.
• Assist with site testing, troubleshooting systems such as cell sites and lighting systems.
• Participate in new tower builds and modifications to existing structures.
• Perform routine inspections and specialized tower maintenance.
• Mentor and assist less experienced team members to build team capability.
• Uphold safety protocols and quality workmanship that exceeds industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, site leads, and clients.
• Travel to job sites and work extended hours or weekends as required.
