Job summary

QTC Inc. in California seeks a Tower Technician - Top Hand to assemble, install and maintain rigging equipment on communication towers.

You will work at heights, follow safety protocols and coordinate with crews to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include erecting various tower types, reading construction documents, installing antennas and cables, and performing site tasks with strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of tower industry experience.
• Ability to work at significant heights and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assembling/erecting tower types (self-support, monopoles, guyed).
• Reading construction documents and delegating tasks.
• Installing antennas, coax, fiber, DC/AC power at height.
• Identify materials and tools and complete site duties.
• Assist Foreman with close-out documentation.
