MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician I to install and maintain telecom equipment across wired, wireless, fiber, and microwave systems. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and teamwork in a physically demanding field environment.

The successful candidate will climb towers, assist in erecting towers, and support installation of antennas and transmission lines while adhering to industry standards and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment on wired, wireless, fiber, and microwave systems.
• Climb towers and ladders at various heights.
• Prepare and clean sites; offload materials and inventory.
• Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles.
• Install antenna systems and transmission lines; ensure grounding and electrical work where applicable.
