Job summary

ES3, LLC in York, PA is hiring for a Tower Loader to move pallets, load trailers, and operate forklifts in a fast-paced grocery warehouse environment.

The role starts at $19/hr with potential to exceed $25/hr after training, is full-time on the 3rd shift, and includes benefits from day one, paid training, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience loading with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong safety awareness and procedures.
• Team-oriented with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Utilize forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Inspect trailers for damage before loading.
• Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap.
• Move at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product.
• Perform equipment inspections & complete forms.
• Occasional lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels.
• Keep work area clean.

Position Overview

As a Tower Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active

Job Description

Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $25+/hr after training!

Full Time, 3rd shift available

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday OR Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday

6pm start until done (overtime as required)

Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

You will contribute by:

• Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Inspecting trailers for damage before loading.
• Utilizing RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.
• Wrapping pallets with stretch wrap.
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Keeping work area clean
• Performing other job related duties as assigned

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

• One or more years of experience operating a sit down forklift required
• Previous loading experience utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jack, etc.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures

• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
