Job summary

SEFNCO Communications Inc. is seeking a Tower Foreman in the St. Louis area to lead daily site construction, drive production to leadership-defined goals, and uphold a safety-first, high-quality work culture for our crews.

You will mentor team members, read site plans and SOWs, coordinate with customer representatives, maintain paperwork, ensure equipment is in good condition, and perform long shifts including tower climbs up to 12 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• You have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
• You have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
• You demonstrate expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
• You have a working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Owning a WSA certification is a plus.
• You possess job-related certifications, like First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment.
• You have organizational, computer, and communication skills.
• You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company's policy conditions.
• You have the ability to maintain FDOT log books (Training will be provided).
• You have the ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures.
• You recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
• Must be able to provide, record, and manage paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Must be fit and in good physical condition.
• Must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site construction to meet production goals.
• Ensure safety policies and standards are followed.
• Oversee operations and quality of work at sites.
• Maintain required site paperwork and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain relationships.
• Provide leadership and train crew members.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
• Validate daily timesheets for management.
• Mentor new technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
