Job summary

Maxim Crane in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Tower Service Manager to direct and optimize branch tower crane and hoist service, safety programs, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee technicians, scheduling, maintenance, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with regional leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years crane service experience, 2+ years management, strong budgeting and drawing-reading skills, and proven leadership to drive cost-efficient operations and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ experience in crane service environment.
• 2+ years’ management experience in crane service environment.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and write simple correspondence.
• Advanced knowledge of tower crane functionality, terminology, maintenance and repair practices.
• Ability to read and understand shop and project drawings.
• Moderate knowledge of budgets and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage branch performance and operations for equipment rentals, maintenance, safety, etc.
• Ensure Technicians have the proper skill set for the repair, maintenance, assembly, climbs, and disassembly of tower cranes and hoists.
• Schedule technicians for assembly and disassembly of tower cranes in coordination with the Regional OPS Manager.
• Implement cost-effective systems to control operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries.
• Enforce and support safety initiatives and regulatory compliance such as OSHA/ANSI/ASME.
