Job summary

Leidos in Poulsbo, WA seeks a Towed System IMA technician to join the team supporting naval towed acoustic arrays on submarines and surface ships. The role includes inspection, testing, troubleshooting, assembly, and shipboard installation/removal, with travel overseas and within CONUS on short notice.

Overtime and surge travel may be required, and the candidate must obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an electronics program or Navy C school with 2+ years in test/repair of electronic/electrical equipment.
• Experience using electronic test equipment and handheld power tools.
• Must obtain interim Secret clearance and a valid driver’s license.
• Must lift 40 lbs and pass background check/physical to operate company vehicle.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect towed array modules, perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Assemble tow bodies and install/remove shipboard systems pier-side.
• Travel overseas and within CONUS on short notice; overtime may be required.
• On‑the‑job training and progression to Pier-Side Supervisor in PQS program.
