A leading defense contractor in San Diego is seeking a Towed Systems IMA technician to support the US Navy with towed acoustic systems for submarines and surface ships. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, electrical testing, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment. Qualifications
- Must have the ability to lift 40lbs without assistance.
- Must complete background check and physical for company truck operation.
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance at the Secret level.
- Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct towed array module physical inspection and electrical testing.
- Troubleshoot and assemble towed arrays for shipboard installation.
- Provide 24/7 fleet support for towed acoustic systems.
- Interact with Navy, Government, and civilian contractors.
