Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Towed Systems Technician in Guam to support submarine and surface ship operations. This role requires expertise in electronics and the ability to work in various conditions, including pier-side and warehouse environments.

Responsibilities include inspecting and testing towed array modules, traveling on short notice, and reviewing technical documentation. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 40lbs are essential. Candidates must be able to qualify for a Department of Defense security clearance.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience in the test and repair of electronic/electrical equipment.
• Must obtain a minimum of an interim Secret clearance prior to employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct towed array module physical inspection and testing.
• Travel overseas and within CONUS on short notice.
• Review technical documentation and submit TMDERS corrections.

Skills

Experience with electronic test equipment

Ability to lift 40lbs without assistance

Microsoft Office products proficiency

Education

Graduate of an accredited technical institute

Completion of a military electronics course equivalent to U.S. Navy 'C' school

Forklift operation
