HWS LLC is seeking a Tow Truck Operator to provide emergency roadside assistance, towing, recovery, and abandoned vehicle services. You will operate equipment safely, maintain trucks, and complete documentation accurately while delivering professional, customer-focused service.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong communication. You will respond to calls promptly, collaborate with dispatch and management, and uphold company standards across all tasks, including after-hours shifts

Qualifications

• Driving record must meet company insurance carrier and DOT standards.
• Valid driver's license for assigned vehicle and DOT driving requirements.
• Ability to respond to after-hours calls within required times.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate in English, complete basic paperwork, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift and operate towing/recovery equipment.
• Ability to obtain DCJS registration and DOT medical certificate if required.
• Safe driving record meeting fleet safety and insurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency roadside assistance, towing, recovery, and abandoned vehicle services.
• Maintain assigned trucks and equipment per company standards and complete all required documentation.
• Respond to customer, vendor, and internal inquiries within one business day and maintain positive relationships.
• Complete service tickets accurately and on time with minimal errors.
• Identify and recommend service improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Collaborate with dispatch and management to support operations.
• Support additional duties such as shop/yard maintenance and vehicle detailing.
