Job summary

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport in Tampa, FL seeks Light Duty Tow Operators. You will respond to accidents, breakdowns, and roadside emergencies, tow vehicles, and communicate with motorists en route to service calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience required.
• Prior towing experience or related field preferred but not required; training provided.
• Current DOT Medical Card required before the 1st day of work.
• Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to accidents, vehicle breakdowns, and roadside emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with motorists while en route to service calls.
• Carry out minor repairs or tow vehicles to repair facilities as needed.
• Safely secure and transport vehicles on your truck.
• Remove vehicles parked in unauthorized locations.
