Job summary

Norwalk Auto Auction is looking for a dedicated Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Norwalk, California. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of driving experience and a clean California driver's license. You will be responsible for driving to designated pick-up sites, maintaining equipment, and communicating with customers regarding their repossessed vehicles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tow truck driving experience required.
• A valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to work a flexible 12-hour day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Tow Truck to designated pick up sites of repossessed vehicles is and transport vehicle back to dealership.
• Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and clean state.
• Provide instant updates online for every account.
• Maintain cars on the lot.
• Communicate with customers that have had their cars repossesed to retrieve their vehicles an/or property.
• Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
• Perform other duties, as required, when not engaged in towing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years tow truck driving experience required.
• Knowledge of repossession process a plus but willing to train.
• A Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Must have computer technical skills.
• AAA experience a PLUS!
• Must have customer service oriented.
• Must be able to work 12 hour day flexible schedule.
• Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must conduct oneself in a professional manner.
• Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
• Bilingual a PLUS!
