Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's PlayMakers Repertory Company seeks a non-union tour manager/stage manager for the Gateway Project. The role focuses on planning with community engagement, scheduling tours, organizing rehearsals, running technical rehearsals, and calling the touring production of a new work.

Expected performances in April/May with close collaboration across departments. Ideal candidates have theatre degree and experience in stage management or tour coordination;

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Theatre Arts preferred.
• Some experience in theatre production or related field.

Responsibilities

• Organize rehearsals and schedule performances for a touring production.
• Run technical rehearsals and call touring production for performances.
• Assist with logistics of planning and scheduling a tour.
• Collaborate with artistic, production and engagement teams.
• Support community engagement during the Gateway Project.
